Payment Procedures and Policies

Self-paced eLearning / Blended eLearning

Cancellation

Once the enrollment process is complete, no cancellations will be accepted. Therefore, the student/company will be responsible for the full tuition of the course. Innovatia reserves the right to change course tuition and modify course content when necessary.

Registration / Confirmation

Innovatia sends the student an enrollment confirmation via email at time of registration. This email contains important information regarding course access and login instructions. We recommend reading it thoroughly. As most information regarding courses is finalized via email, it is especially important for students to provide their correct email address
upon enrollment.

Course Access

Online training is provided as a right to use license for a period of 60 days from date of registration unless otherwise specified. Date of registration is the date on which the student is notified by email that access is available and login credentials are supplied. Similar to classroom training where tuition covers only a single student, the license for online training is restricted to a single user. Students must accept terms of use before gaining access to the training system. These terms of use are presented during first login.

Course Extensions

Innovatia reserves the right to extend course access at our discretion. In addition, course extensions may require payment of an administration fee to process and are applicable to each course extended.

Course Completion

Certificates of Completion are awarded in electronic format for download upon successful course completion. Please follow the instructions in your online course for completion criteria.

Substitution

Innovatia reserves the right to allow student substitutions in online training provided the online course has not been accessed by the original student and the new student meets all pre-requisite requirements of the training. Extra courseware material if applicable will not be provided.

Instructor-led Training (ILT)

Cancellation

Individual students scheduled in ILT training can reschedule or cancel the registration without penalty up to 14 calendar days prior to the course start date. We charge full tuition if you cancel or reschedule fewer than 14 calendar days before the session start date.

Cancellation by Innovatia

Innovatia reserves the right to change course schedules and tuition, modify course content, and cancel courses when necessary. If we cancel a course, we make every effort to notify you a minimum of 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled starting date. Innovatia encourages the purchase of refundable airline tickets and is not liable for any expenses incurred by the student/company due to the cancellation of a course. Courses may be cancelled for reasons including, but not limited to low student enrollment, resource conflicts, or other factors that would prohibit quality delivery of training services.

Class Participation

For successful course completion, 100% attendance is required. If a registered student fails to appear for a scheduled class or fails to complete the entire course, we charge the full tuition.

Substitution

Instructor led course attendee substitutions can be made prior to class or at start of class. The substitute must meet any prerequisite requirements.

Travel Arrangements

Students are responsible for their own travel and living arrangements. Innovatia encourages the purchase of refundable airline tickets and is not liable for any expenses incurred by the student/company due to the cancellation of a course. Courses may be cancelled for reasons including, but not limited to low student enrollment, resource conflicts, or other factors that would prohibit quality delivery of training services.

Inclement Weather

Innovatia reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather. In case of inclement weather, contact us at 1-888-466-6855. If the site is open, classes will be held and our no-show policy will be enforced if you do not attend.

Dress Code

Casual business attire is appropriate for class. Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas.

Weapons Free Policy

For everyone’s safety, no weapons of any type are allowed in any facility or property owned or leased by Innovatia, including parking lots and garages, and any vehicles brought onto company property. This "Weapon-Free" policy applies to any type of firearm or device intended or designated to be able to cause personal injury or death, whether licensed, legal, illegal, concealed, or carried openly.

Facilitated eLearning (Virtual Classroom)

Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule a Facilitated eLearning class without penalty up to 7 calendar days prior to the session start date. We charge full tuition if you cancel or reschedule fewer than 7 calendar days before the session start date.

Cancellation by Innovatia

Innovatia reserves the right to change course schedules and tuition, modify course content, and cancel courses when necessary. If we cancel a Facilitated eLearning course, we make every effort to notify you a minimum of 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled starting date.

Note: network outages may cause Innovatia to cancel scheduled training with no notice. In these cases, a new session will be scheduled. Students may enroll in the new session or choose to attend another regularly scheduled session for the course. Refunds will not be given.

Facilitated and Hands-in Courses

Learner access to equipment that is not relevant to the course is prohibited. Unauthorized activity or attempts to gain unauthorized access will result in the learner’s immediate removal from class and the learner will be billed appropriately.

The student must be available to assist in the verification of their workstation for the period beginning 7 days prior to the start of a Facilitated eLearning session.

The student is responsible for contacting the Innovatia Technical Support team, if needed, to resolve technical support issues prior to the start of class.

Once a student’s PC Windows workstation has been verified and is ready for Facilitated eLearning instruction, actions by the customer that subsequently prevent the workstation’s readiness may result in the student being re-scheduled into a different session.

On-site Training

Customer Site Training Requests

For most Instructor-led training, a customer site session may be delivered at your site providing minimum requirements can be met. To schedule customer site training, contact a customer service representative. An additional fee may be applied to requests made within 14 calendar days of the requested start date.

Cancellation

You can cancel or reschedule Customer Site training without penalty up to 28 calendar days prior to course start date. Full charges apply if you cancel or reschedule fewer than 28 calendar days before the course start date.

For successful course completion, 100% attendance is required. If a registered student fails to appear for a scheduled class or fails to complete the entire course, we charge the full tuition. Substitution

General

Courseware Copyright

All rights are reserved. No training class or material may be reproduced in any form -- electronic, mechanical, photocopy, recording, or otherwise.

Prerequisites

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the proper prerequisite knowledge and skills before taking any course. All prerequisites are listed in the individual course descriptions. For ILT, Facilitated eLearning and Onsite training instructors may, at their discretion, dismiss students who do not meet the prerequisite criteria. If this happens, we bill the course fee per payment agreement and you do not receive credit for the course.

Sexual Harassment

Sexually harassing conduct in the workplace, whether committed by Innovatia employees, vendors, contractors, or visitors, is prohibited.

Payment

Method of payment must accompany all training requests. Various methods of payment are accepted, including purchase orders, most credit cards and training bank. Payment method may not be changed after the class starts.

Innovatia makes every effort to conduct the highest quality professional education services and provide the best learning experience for each student. If you feel we have not achieved this goal, we would like to know.
